First, set a static IP address on your Xbox 360.
Then add the following 3 rules to your router, under the port forwarding options, pointing to the IP address of your Xbox 360:
Port: 88, Protocol: both (tcp/udp)
Port: 2074, Protocol: both (tcp/udp)
Port: 3074, Protocol: both (tcp/udp)
Save those changes, then run the network tests on the Xbox. You should get an “Open” status under that last test, NAT.
Doing this should clear up and “Open Nat” error messages that come up during Halo 3 matchmaking and when joining your friends parties.

Well networking is new to me but not nessecarily really new… I know the modern basics shuch as how to access my router and what not… How ever I do NOT know who to 1. Set a static ip adress to my x-box 360, or 2. I do not know how to find my x-box 360’s ip adress… If someone could possibly help me with this I would greatly appreciate it… I have many means of contact… Windows Live Messenger = Itzarchangel@yahoo.com, Aim = ArchangelPwnz, E-mail = Itzarchangel@yahoo.com, XBL Gamertag = Itz Arcahngel, and last my personal cell phone # is 513-295-8561… Again if someone could help me as to my 2 main problems I would greately appreciate it… Thank You
